On the 18th November 2018 IOP celebrated its 2oth anniversary. Four representatives from IOP Luxembourg travelled to Ilula for the celebrations. Helen Clarke and Ellen Okkerman (co-presidents) were joined by Tom O’Dea (Treasurer) and Sam O’Dea (member). The days celebrations began with a 5Km parade/walk from Ilula village to IOP playing field where a beautiful stage had been set up. There were some very special guests including the Norwegian Ambassador and the Kilolo District Commissioner. However the speech that was most savoured was given by Berit Skaare the founder of IOP. The children from the Sunflower Primary school gave an amazing signing and dancing performance as well.
